Why Civicrm does not take into the account the "sent from" set by me?

Hi

While I have setup the "sent from" properly (i.e. my email address of the type name@mydomain.com) the recipients receive the email having as having been sent by: b.2.2.992897b92f4b398f@mydomain.com

Why Civicrm does not take into the account the "sent from" set by me?

I use Civicrm 3.0.2

Hm, this is very strange – the From: header should be set to the ‘sent from’ address. The b.2.2.992… address is our bounce tracking address, used in the Return-Path: header and the MAIL FROM SMTP envelope.

Can you get access to your email server’s logs to see what they show for the emails you send?
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.
