Path to language files in Joomla?
September 03, 2007, 03:21:35 am
Hi, i'm new in CiviCRM ;)
I installed CiviCRM 1.8.10954 in Joomla 1.0.12 and saved the downloaded language-files under:

/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/l10n

But i cant see any language in the drop-down in:

CiviCRM  » Administer CiviCRM  » Global Settings  » Settings - Localization

Is this the wrong path, or what else is wrong?

THX and Regards from Stuttgart/Germany

did you save them under directories?

/administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/l10n/de_DE/LC_MESSAGES/civicrm.mo

Yes, correct ;)

I made it with FTP, so the owner is NOT www-data, is this a problem, i think no ?!

Damned  :'(

Yesterday i moved the joomla-installation from the devel-server to the production-server, so in the CiviCRM-Config the absolute-path still points to the old devel-path.

And there is NO l10n-directory ;)

I dont know in which table i must look about this path, so installed the civicrm-component new.

Problem is fixed.

Shame on me ;)
