Weird contact name cause fatal error... and lots of emails
November 16, 2009, 10:53:18 am
Hi,

Even so the statistics on the sending looked ok in the reports, it seems like the cron job didn't send everything.

When I ran it manually, I got an error like:

Validation failed for: "Federatia "Name of the org"" <name@example.org> = 'unknown error', = null,
                        16 = null, Array = null, = null

1) The problem was with the " in the name. I'm guessing that aren't properly escaped ? Anyway, after I modified the name, it seems that it sent old emails from all newsletters. Not sure.

Is there a way to ensure and reset the sendings, to be sure it won't send any old emails, even if a formating problem blocked the sending  ?
