Splitting duplicate participants

Would like to share the following tips

Situation : I have people who registered multiple participants using the same email address. So they end up tagged to the same contact id. Now, I got to split them.

Here's how to do it
1. Created a new contact.
2. Change the participant's contact id to the new contact id.
3. Change the corresponding activity's contact id to the new id
4. Update smart groups (if any)
