Root Errors and Warnings
November 16, 2009, 08:14:03 pm
I'm getting tons of fun errors and warnings after attempting an install. I've look through lots of other threads and changed where the root setting points to a dozen times and nothing seems to be working. If it makes any difference I installed drupal after numerous problems with a standalone install (wouldn't allow an admin to log in). I'm running it on my own server which runs on ubuntu.

    * warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'CRM/Core/Config.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/var/www/sites/modules/civicrm:/var/www/sites/modules/civicrm/packages:.:/usr/share/php:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/civicrm.module on line 253.

Oops! - The path for including CiviCRM code files is not set properly. Most likely there is an error in the civicrm_root setting in your CiviCRM settings file (sites/default/civicrm.settings.php).

» civicrm_root is currently set to: /var/www/sites/modules/civicrm.

I've managed to get rid of the warnings, but I still can't seem to shake the civicrm_root error.

Have you tried editing /var/www/sites/default/civicrm.settings.php and setting $civicrm_root to /var/www/sites/all/modules/civicrm there?
If you found the above helpful, please consider helping us in return – you can even steer CiviCRM’s future and help us extend CiviCRM in ways useful to you.

Yep. I ended up getting it later that day, that's what it was. Thanks for the help!
