Differences/problems between Firefox and IE renderings of Contrib pages
November 17, 2009, 09:39:37 am
My testing of the contrib pages is working fine in Firefox. However, while viewing the site on IE is working fine (it is displaying correctly), when I go to a CiviCRM contrib page in IE, the formatting breaks, as though one or more of the stylesheets from the Drupal theme is not loading anymore, and this error is raised:

<code>
Webpage error details

User Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.2; WOW64; Trident/4.0)
Timestamp: Tue, 17 Nov 2009 17:32:41 UTC

Message: Object doesn't support this property or method
Line: 99
Char: 31
Code: 0
URI: https://www.sitename.org/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=2
</code>

(And this error is raised on every stage of the checkout process for the contrib page).

I've checked the resource URLs and they look fine (they had https:// and I changed it to http:// but it didn't help).
