Hi I'm wondering a) if anyone has used Gigya http://drupal.org/project/gigya which allows authentication via Facebook, Twitter, OpenID on a Drupal site on a Drupal site that uses the CiviCRM Membership > Drupal Role sync.

My concern is that a module such as Gigya might circumvent the standard Drupal authentication process of a user and thereby might miss some Role > Member syncing that needs to occur.

Any thoughts? Would this be a disaster?

I tried it. Even got the API keys from different providers.

Did not like it, as I block all flash in my browser, so Gigya cannot execute and let me into the site. Did not check how it works with CiviCRM.

I am curious if you have tried to use gigya with drupal/civicrm and how it worked for you. Any problems you encountered? Does it work at all?
