Error on merge duplicates (timestamp)
November 20, 2009, 02:34:04 am
We have had a particular contact for many versions of civiCRM.

For the first time they have registered for an event (as an anonymous drupal user) - their first name is 'Sam' or 'Samantha' and whilst we have always used their personal email they have recently been appointed to a new body and have a very smart new email.

Consequently the registration created a new crm contact record.

On merging the two records later the following error message was displayed:

Sorry. A non-recoverable error has occurred.

One of parameters (value: 0) is not of the type Timestamp

The merge and delete appear to have been successful and correct.

myles :

You might want to upgrade to the latest stable release.
There was an issue which got fixed in 2.2 :
http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-4253
