How to show the recent events?

I want to know how to display recent events on my website.
Actually, I know how to show the recent events on drupal, but the problem now is I want to display it on non-drupal or non-joomla sites.


Anyone can give me any suggestion or guidance   ???

Can't you use Upcoming CiviCRM Events block?

Thanks for your reply.

I can use Upcoming CiviCRM Events block without any problem.
However, now the problem is my client don't want to migrate from their website to drupal or joomla.
So I want to know is there a way to display the upcoming event on their website.

So you are using stanalone version of CiviCRM?

Yes, I plan to use standalone version of Civicrm.
