Can't Edit Price Sets
September 04, 2007, 02:36:10 pm
This URL

/civicrm/admin/price/field/option?action=browse&reset=1&gid=1&fid=7

comes up fine but when I "Edit Option" and change the price and submit the page, it never comes back--the browser is blank.

Oddly, same for "Find Duplicate Contacts" when I click on "Use Rule" the page never comes back. This 1.8 install was an auto-install.

Where do I start to look to debug this?

Thanks.

In general for a blank page, you need to check you apache error logs and/or drupal watchdog logs and cut-n-paste the error message in your report. Also try doing the same things on demo and see if that works. If not, file an issue

Error is something to do with apache setting. May be you should google. (check http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum92/604.htm)

this is what i got from my server admin:

We have investigated your issue regarding the blank php pages. As far we can tell there are no server related issue that is causing the php script to generate a blank page. The issue is not related to apache, the server is  serving regular html and php pages without any difficulty.

This is a third party application you are running on your server, which we do not support, this seems more related to a configuration issue with the application itself. We checked the mysql process during the execution of the 'users' link from the link you provided, we have provided the results below.

The script appears to be executing as it should and then closes the connection to mysql, thus leading us to reason that your application is not configured correctly somewhere else. We would recommend contacting CMS directly with regards to troubleshooting their application.
