I've created some multi select custom data fields and imported a number of contacts with fields mapped to the multi select fields.   When I edit the imported records, select one of the custom values in the multi select field, and try to save the changes I get the following error message:

Please correct the following errors in the form fields below:

    * Please select valid custom value.

How do I fix this issue?
