Renewal Emails Behaving Strange Manual Overrides
November 25, 2009, 11:12:11 am
In Joomla, my automatic renewal reminder emails are not working properly when the Membership Record has been manually overridden.

Example 1. The Membership Record was set to 'Expire' manually, but an email still went out 7 days before the end date. Is it the CRM/Mailing/BAO/Job.php file that needs a hack? I suppose the status needs to be checked in addition to the expiration date in order to determine who to send the automatic emails to, but I don't want to break anything, so thought I'd inquire here.

Example 2. Even more strange, when I manually changed an expiration date, the renewal email seems to go out 9 days before instead of 7 days before. Not the end of the world, but strange.

If you have any advice for how to fix these, I would be grateful.

Thanks very much,
Phil
