Different memberships - Different profiles

Hi,

I'm creating a site with Joomla and CiviCRM. I want participants to choose between 3 different memberships when registering, with different pricing. If possible I also want to create different profile pages for the different types of memberships. When choosing a membership I want to send an invoice automatic to the member, and each month or quarter I want to send a new invoice.

Is CiviCRM the right system to use and how can I accomplish what I need?

I've created 2 membership types. But how do I get new members to choose membershiptypes here: http://nettkortet.no/index.php?option=com_civicrm&view=Profiles&Itemid=53

You need to create a contribution page. You can apply that profile to the contribution page & set the membership options when you configure the contribution page

You can configure your membership type(s) to link them to a "reminder" template, and then you'll need to run a php script via a cron job to keep membership statuses updated and send out the reminders.

Is it possible to track how many members participants has recruited with the personal contribution page?

All "contributions" made through Personal Campaign Pages (PCPs) are recorded as "soft contributions" credited to the owner of the Campaign Page. This should apply for contributions which are paying for memberships as well, altho I haven't tried the combination myself (e.g. PCPs in support of a contribution page that includes membership signup).

Soft credits are listed in each contacts "Contributions" tab. You can also search / find contribution by PCP from "Find Contributions" search form. And there is a Soft Credit report.
