Moving civicrm, Fatal error: Class 'CRM_Utils_Cache' error
November 27, 2009, 07:47:45 pm
Hi,

I'm attempting to move a Drupal and Civicrm install, from a sub domain to the main domain, and using new databases for each. Referring to http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location

I have done all I can in the list, up to 6) Reseting paths at http://<drupal_site>?q=civicrm/admin/setting/updateConfigBackend?reset=1

but I'm now getting an error which is stopping me get to any Drupal or Civicrm pages!
I have already set Config_Backend column to NULL in MYSQL

The error is:
Fatal error: Class 'CRM_Utils_Cache' not found in /home/freeasab/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/Config.php on line 177

(the path is correct in this error, so I believe I have the settings files changed correctly)

most likely you did not copy all the files and/or your untar/uncompress failed

Thanks Lobo,
I tried uploading all the civicrm files again, did a fresh import of the database, and followed closely the instructions at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Moving+an+Existing+Installation+to+a+New+Server+or+Location
and it is nowworking fine, though strangely my Drupal theme lost some of it's theme settings. Was easy to correct though.
Thanks again
