Expected input for pick list fields (like contribution status or contribution type) is an alphanumeric for the field (ie. Pending, Check) but the input requires the numeric. This is not at all intuitive. Also, there is no "remove" button to eliminate search criteria that was not necessary - this requires the user to start all over from the menu to remove a criteria. Request ability to remove each line in the search builder or at least add a reset / clear button to avoid going to top menu.

Dear Sonic,

The feature set for CiviCRM 3.2 is located at http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/CiviCRM+v3.2 and it appears your first requested feature (alphanumerics) is slated for that release (see the second bullet under "Search Enhancements").

And I'd vote for your second request (remove criteria).

Thanks Ken! I suggest some language on the search builder to caveat this until 3.2 - Its definitely not expected behavior. The caveat might also prep users for the new functionality. S.
