Can't import contacts or activities after upgrade to 3.0.2

I upgraded from 2.2.9 to 3.0.2 today.  Next I attempted to import contacts and activities from a CSV file.  However, in step 2, civi did not recognize the comma, so the entire row was consided one field.  I when to the Civi demo site and the file uploaded without issue.

Is there a problem with imports in 3.0.2?  ANy suggestions?  Can I go back to 2.2.9?

Pretty sure there isn't a "general" problem w/ imports in 3.0.2 - sounds like either a configuration issue OR possibly encoding issue w/ the .csv file.

Did you edit the original .csv file prior to testing it on the demo? If there  was an encoding or line termination issue in the original, your edited file might have been "fixed".

In any case first thing to check is "Import / Export Field Separator" under Global Settings >> Localisation.

Thanks it was the seperator.  Never thought to look in localization for that.....
