Manage Contribution Pages, Title and settings, Start Date and End Date

Hi Folks,

Possibly a dumb question but what do the Start and End Dates refer to in the Manage Contributions Page>Title and Settings.  Is it the start and end date of the validity of the contribution page or is the star and end date of the membership?  I am a little confused.

Any help appreciated.

It is the period for which contribution page will be available for donating.
