Hi,

On the Settings - Date Preferences page civicrm/admin/setting/preferences/date?reset=1 (reached via Advanced Date Input Settings link on Global Settings -> Date) I was getting broken layout in the Zen theme: blocks appearing under the footer instead of in sidebar, suggesting an unclosed tag somewhere. Switching to Garland fixed the layout but when I fed the page to W3C validator in the hope of spotting the problem, I got 308 errors with Garland, 309 with Zen. Validating against XHTML Transitional instead of Strict made little difference; HTML 4.0.1 Transitional left 167 errors.
