custom data field to case role
December 09, 2009, 10:21:28 am
Hello.

Is there a way to have data entered into a custom data field populate the case role, similarly to the way that creator and client roles are populated?

I have a custom data field (Adverse Party) used for Open Case.  I also have a case role defined as Adverse Party.  I'd like the case role 'Adverse party' to be whatever is entered in in the custom data field 'Adverse Party'.

At this point I'm not even sure how to view data entered into a custom field when creating a case.

Thanks.

This can be done using hooks.
