disappearing custom data groups
December 11, 2009, 11:26:12 am
I'm using PowerBase (built on CiviCRM) and I've created a bunch of custom data fields called Organization Details and I associated it with Organizations.  For some reason, the whole custom data group seems to have disappeared.  It's no longer visible in the list of Custom Data.  When you look at the mySQL, the tables that I created are still there, but we can't figure out how to make them accessible or why they disappeared in the first place.

As per Lobo's suggestions, we tried truncating cache using the truncate civicrm_cache command. This yielded no change.

We also checked and there is no ACl involved. We have not done anything with permissions.

We're now investigating whether the problem is that it appears to be lacking the table constraints that civi adds in when you create a custom data field/group.  To be continued...
