I fixed this problem (described below) by adding the option-value Change Log to the option-group Contact View Options. I duplicated the values I found on the demo site. I don't know how, but this record must have been deleted from our database.

I'm using 3.0.2 on Joomla! and I'm having problems seeing the Change Log.

The View Change Log link appears on the contact summary page, but does nothing. There is no Change Log tab visible.

When I go to Administer CiviCRM > Global Settings > Site Preferences there is no checkbox to choose whether or not to view a contact's Change Log. I note that this checkbox is visible on the demo site.

The only issue I can find that is related to this problem is CRM-3708 but this is a different issue. I do remember at one stage disabling viewing of the Change Log but it would be nice to turn it back on.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this?
