Advanced Search Problem
December 16, 2009, 06:40:57 am
I am having a problem with advanced search.  When I have a search that includes event type, this field seems to be ignored.

I am running 3.03 on Drupal 6.14.  I recently upgraded to 3.03 as I thought my problem might be related to this bug http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-5440

I have a number of advanced searches saved as smart groups, which worked under CiviCRM 2.2 to show us running totals of who had attended which types of events in a specified time period. I have found this very useful for monitoring, and it being the end of the year I went back to the smart groups to compile our returns for funders.

All of the groups now have the same number of members which appear to be anyone who has attended anything this year.  There is no differentiation between different event types.  The header for the advanced search shows the criteria searched on, and does not mention anything about event type.

I have replicated this on drupal.demo.civicrm.org by creating two events, one of type conference, one of type meeting.  I signed up two people for one and one person for the other. If I do a search for participants of events this month of type meeting, or type conference I get the same result, the three people who have been signed up.

Thanks,
Peter
