I just upgraded to version 3.0.3 and when I make a donation, and I click the button to create a personal campaign page, I fill out the form, submit it, and I go back to my main homepage with no email sent or personal page created to approve.  How can I get this working?

No, no.  I get through the donation page, where I make a donation.  Then I click the button to create a personal campaign page.  I fill out that form, where I pick a username/password for my account.  When I submit that page, it just takes me back to my homepage, and in the CiviCRM admin, there is no personal page created for me to approve, and I never receive an email about how to login and create my page.  I have it set up so that personal pages require approvals.

Yes, I have 3.0.3 Stable.  I can't login to the demo to do anything.  Is there a way to create a personal campaign page as a user, and not log in to the admin?

Ok, I was able to create a contribution page and enable personal campaigns.  I ran it using the Test Drive link.  Made my donation, and created a personal campaign page, and everything worked fine.  I did the same thing on my site, and i got directed back to my homepage after submitting the username/password page.  I never get the page that asks for your pages information, like adding your page title, message and picture, etc.

Please, can anyone help me with this?

I'm having the same problem with 3.0.3. I'm trying to create a Personal Campaign Page but it never completes the process. I go to the "Setup a Personal Campaign Page - Account Information" page and enter username, password, first, last & email. Then I click Continue but it sends me to the site's home page instead of the next page in the PCP creation process. I have debugging & backtrace turned on but no info is shown.

I guess I'll dig into the code to see what I can find out.

I've continued testing and I've got a bit more info about the cause of the error. The error occurs when a contact with the specified email address has been deleted and then I attempt to create a new PCP using that email address. Of course, this shouldn't be a problem but it is. It's more of a problem in testing than in real usage because in testing I need to test multiple times and I need to provide a real unique email address each time so that I can receive the automated emails from CiviCRM. So, during testing I've been deleting and reusing my test contact email address. But this leads to the problem that's reported here—it fails to go to step 2 of the PCP creation process.

I've traced the problem to the following point:
administrator/components/com_civicrm/civicrm/CRM/Contribute/Page/PCPInfo.php::run()
At line 75 $pcpInfo is empty which causes the function to bail with the following value for $statusMessage:
The personal campaign page you requested is currently unavailable.
That message is never displayed though as the user gets redirected to the home page.

This needs further tracing to get to the root cause of the error but due to my lack of familiarity with the code this is as far as I can go right now. If anyone has tips on tracking this down further I'd appreciate it.
