I have a upcoming requirement to print reminders on to Avery postcards ( the size is either 4" x 6"  ( 2 per sheet )   or   4-1/4" x 5-1/2" ( 4 per sheet ) ) .

I was looking at the code for generating mailing labels, as this already has the ability to deal with various size labels, but the message is rather inflexible because it is set in the "Global Settings" area. Any  ideas as to a good starting point for this project?

I figured out a solution.  In case anyone has the same requirement, here is what I did:

1) Search on the needed contacts then choose the action "Create a PDF letter"
2) When Adobe Reader is open with the document, Click the Adobe Reader "print" button.
3) Look under under the "Page Handling" area for a item called "Page Scaling".
4) Change "Page Scaling" to "Multiple Pages per Sheet"
5) Choose either 2  or 4 pages per sheet, depending on the layout of your postcard sheet.
