Can you forward emails to be processed?
December 22, 2009, 04:09:09 am
Hello all,

Just wondering if it's possible to forward past emails to be processed by the email handler?

I'd really like a simple way to get past emails attached to contacts as activities. If I forward old emails it only processes my email address - is there any way to get it to mine down into the body of the email?

Cheers,

James

tw options:

1. some mail clients have a functionality callled redirect or bounce:

http://mailredirect.mozdev.org/

that you can use

2. you can enhance the current mail processor to extract and process the forwarded email. this should not be too hard with the ezc mail libraries
