Click the CiviCRM link in the main navigation block
December 23, 2009, 02:59:38 pm
Just following the installation instructions for CiviCRM and Drupal and everything seemed to be fine until I reached these steps:

http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC/Drupal+Installation+Guide

  • Login to your Drupal site with an administrator-level login
  • Click the CiviCRM link in the main navigation block
  • Click Administer CiviCRM
  • If your Drupal site makes use of the db_prefix setting (in settings.php - cf. Step 2, above), click Configure Global Settings, then Drupal Integration Settings, and update the box for the Drupal Users Table Name so that it includes the prefix.
  • Click Synchronize Users-to-Contacts in the top group of icons

The problem I am having is when i login as administrative user into Drupal, I do not seem to be able to see the CRM Link or Administer CiviCRM.

Please help.

d

p.s. tried changing the theme but that did not seem to help either.

Yep, this helped.  Thx.

Now if I go to:

<sitename>civicrm/

I can see the civicrm menu at the top of my site.

Still can't see any links from the main admin page though.

CiviCRM menu shows only CiviCRM related links. If you want you can add drupal stuff to this menu.
