Hi

i have been playing with Civicrm and cannot see how i can manage a requirement from my nfp organisation - does anyone know if it is possible?

I have set up our membership types, some are life membership and i have set these up and all seems ok
The others are annual memberships running calendar year however any new membership starting in 2009 after 30 Sep will be treated as 2010 membership but is activate from the date of payment i.e. will expire on 31/12/10. However if a payment after 30 Sep 2009 relates to a renewal for a person who was a member in 2008 the payment will relate to the calendar year 2009 and will expire on 31/12/09

thanks for the reply. I have started to use that functionality and it seems to work ok. Thought it would be an unusual requirement but seems other orgs need it too. Thanks for supplying that functionality - it has been a show stopper in a number of other membership databases we have looked at, so thats advantage CiviCRM (guess no one else is watching Wimbledon tennis atm  )
