Contact tabs don't work for me in Firefox
December 29, 2009, 07:25:16 am
I just installed CiviCRM a couple of days ago and am seeing if it can help me organize my small business, which has a non-profit component. I'm a classical composer/publisher with donation-supported projects.

In Firefox 3.5.6, the tabs on the Contact page don't work. Nothing happens when I click them. They do work in Safari 4.0.1.
Oddly, in this forum, various buttons were also missing in Firefox, such as New Topic, Notify and New Poll. Only Mark Read was available. I switched to Safari to use the forum.
I'm probably missing something about Firefox, rather than CiviCRM.

I'm running CiviCRM Standalone on localhost on a Mac OSX 10.5.7.
Thanks!

Try clearing the browser cache. If that doesn't do it, you might need to enable the Firefox 'Firebug' plugin and see if the 'console' is giving you errors that can help diagnose this.
