Importing error for date fields using SQL query
December 30, 2009, 12:11:09 pm
So far so good. I like CiviCRM!

I am trying to import data (Contacts now, but other activities,... later) from our old system. They are both MySQL, and in the same database.
Imports works well excapt for date fields!
The data in the old file date fields looks like:                                     2009-10-31 22:30:05
And from the error file it looks like the format CiviCRM Import expect is: 2009-10-31 22:30
Is there a setting somewhere where i can change this ?
How do i setup the Import Options for it to work? I have tried pretty much everything.

Thanks

If I am not wrong -

Currently we are not supporting date w/ time format for Contact Import process. We do support for Activity Import.

you can check supported date formats from very first page of import process.

We recently fix one issue related to Activity Import w/ date and time : http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-5488

so you might want to upgrade to latest release and check.
