tagging on import
December 30, 2009, 02:17:35 pm
I am importing a file of employees that references an employer.

I want to give all of these employees a specific tag.

However, when I import, some of the 'employers' aren't in the system yet and civicrm makes them on the fly to satisfy the relationship, which is nice.  Unfortunately, it also tags the employers with whatever tag I was trying to give all the employees.

Is there a way around this other than to first import all the employers from the same file to make sure they already exist?

Currently you cannot do this.
