Date picker not showing at all in Birth Date

Hi,
i've created a new profile field called Birth Date taken from Individual -> Birth Date. However in the preview (and live) form the date picker doesn't show.

The date picker does show, though, if i create a custom field and make it a date field.

I'm very new to CiviCRM so if this is a simple issue please excuse my ignorance :)

I'm using the latest beta, 3.1 b3.

Looks like a bug, hence filed: http://issues.civicrm.org/jira/browse/CRM-5601
