Mail features down/not set on Joomla Demo
January 01, 2010, 04:39:23 pm
The joomla demo site does not seem to be set up to test outgoing email, either as a CiviMail mailing or as a send email from a contact.

I am sure this was in place before as I used this environment for testing.  Can the right configuration (including cron jobs) be reinstated please?

thanks

We need to disable it to avoid the demo servers being used as spam relays

All mail sent from the demo servers gets redirected to /dev/null

So how do we test things like the checksum mailing features?  I still cant get it to work on my server after the fix you worked on and can no longer test on the demo account
