Yes or No field in profile: No value lost on profile edit form

Tested on beta2 and beta4, replicated on sandbox r25758.

(1) Create Yes or No custom field, required (here part of "Test Yes/No" custom group for Org).
(2) Create profile containing this custom field, required.
(3) Edit a contact through this profile, setting field to No. (The problem also occurs if this step is done through Civi interface rather than profile.)
(4) Edit the same contact through this profile. The Yes or No field should have No selected but has neither radio button selected: http://sandbox.civicrm.org/civicrm/profile/edit?reset=1&gid=7&id=103
