Email Links
January 05, 2010, 06:07:37 pm
I have included an email link in my latest news but it doesn't appear to work.
This is the info coming up from the link in my test mail.

javascript:location.href='mailto:'+String.fromCharCode(116,111,110,121,64,115,112,111,114,116,122,111,110,101,46,111,114,103,46,110,122)+'?subject=Junior%20Club%20Football%202010'\

Can anyone fix it?

TM

That looks like some kind of javascript email obfuscation, which would be foolish in an email [but often useful when generating web pages with email addresses].

I haven't heard of CiviCRM doing that - could it be that your html is being generated from somewhere else and getting that javascript stuff put in [e.g. are you grabbing it off a Drupal web page, which does have some modules that do that kind of thing]?

Thanks Adixon

Not pasted. Typed in with a subject using firefox.

I can paste a web address and it works OK.
