Another Case Management System

Fans of CiviCase, and I'm one, might want to take a look at www.WITSWEB.org. WITS stands for Web-based Information for Treatment Services and was funded in part by the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration and drew heavily on the Texas Behavioral Health Information System and a similar Ohio system. It has many modules (although it is designed for classic in- and out-patient substance abuse treatment services) that address some of the same needs that CiviCase does. I thought it had been scrubbed before it ever got to implementation, but apparently is running in several states. As I remember it, it was oriented at a state-wide system so that you could check on the availability of treatment slots in multiple programs, which would not be a bad feature in CiviCase.
