how to link civicrm user with joomla user

When a user makes a donation on my site, I give them the option to create a personal campaign page.  When they do, and create their account, it creates a Joomla user account.  They then get an email to login to activate their joomla account.  Once they are logged in, they then have to copy/paste the link to manage their campaign page.  I'm trying to modify the Joomla login, so that when a user logs in, they go straight to their campaign page so they can manage it (I'm not sure why this isn't part of civiCRM).  Anyway, once a user logs in, I can get the username they logged in with, but how do I link the joomla user account to the CiviCRM account?  Does CiviCRM store the username of the Joomla account anywhere?  Is there some id that can be used to tell CiviCRM what joomla user just logged in?

You can use "Create CMS User" profile feature and then include that profile in campaign page.

under the supporter profile that you are using as a registration form, at the bottom is "advanced setting" and the CMS user option will be located about the 3rd or 4th option.

What if I don't have a profile attached to my donation form?

I'm curious. I noticed under your other posts, that you are also setting the site up for PCP. If you are setting up PCP's the PCP is set to the donation form and requires a supporter profile to be attached. Under that supporter profile is where you would set up the CMS user option. Are you setting more that one donation page? Sorry, for the questions, I'm just trying to clarify so I can help better.

Ah, I think I found what you are talking about.  In the PCP settings, there is a Supporter Profile, and I have selected "Supporter Profile".  If I go to that profile, i have an option for "Joomla user account registration option?".  I don't have anything selected here.  As a matter of fact, I don't have anything configured in the Advanced settings section for the Supporter Profile.
