Multi-site memberships issue

I noted these two problems with creating & modifying memberships in a multi-site install:

L2 site admin cannot create a new membership type because when they search for a membership organisation no results are returned

L2 site admin can see memberships from other organisations and 'appears' have permission to change which site a membership type belongs to (although this fails per item above)

If you have created an org to link with L2 site group (part of instruction), you should at least see that organization. Else create an org for L2 site.

What you mean when you say "L2 site admin" ?
If you have multisite module enabled, acls should apply to restrict the listing of memberships, whose contacts are member of L2 site.
