Error message on path
September 16, 2007, 03:43:02 pm
Hey there!

I am having a bit of a problem with civicrm on my site. It's rather freaky, as it had been working for quite some time and just got this error. No files have effectively been moved. I even re-uploaded the civicrm folder and have checked both settings.php and civicrm.settings.php. (I am attaching renamed versions of them.)

It is my understanding that public_html is below /home/uncle. I have 2 other installations with the same web host and the settings are analogously the same. I have the base of Drupal 5.2 installed in the civic folder below public_html. The root civicrm folder is in sites/all/modules.

Oops! - The path for including CiviCRM code files is not set properly. Most likely there is an error in the civicrm_root setting in your CiviCRM settings file (sites/default/civicrm.settings.php).

» civicrm_root is currently set to: /home/uncle/public_html/sites/all/modules/civicrm/.

I just confirmed with tech support that the public_html is indeed below /home/uncle.

Could there be some kind of permissions problem? Other modules are running okay.

kinda hard to say anything with the below information. If you are familiar with php, you might want to go into civicrm.module and add some echo statements to get a better idea of whats going on etc
