So we are now testing the use of PayPal instead of Authorize.net for the contribution pages of our site. Once thing I noticed that no longer happens is that when the payment is completed (at PayPal's site) we have no way to redirect the donor to the Thank You page that used to be shown automatically after processing a donation via Authorize.net. We also lose the chance to show the Tell a Friend, Personal Campaign, Contribution Widget and any Premiums we might have setup after they are taken to the PayPal page for completion of the donation.

I understand that using Authorize.net facilitates payment processing and capturing of credit card payment internally by CiviCRM hence the ability to direct the user to a Thank You pages and all other options we can configure, but is there no way to have a similar outcome using PayPal instead?

u can get paypal to return back to thankyou page in most / all cases

Lobo, you are referring to settings I can edit at PayPal administrative pages directly? Not within CiviCRM, right?
