Event loses profile when using admin approval
January 18, 2010, 03:14:59 pm
Dear All,

Looking for a pointer on profiles when using the admin approval process please.

I've set up an event, with a custom data set. 'Used for' is set to  'Participants Event Type'

The profile is selected in the online registration page.

When the event is NOT set to 'Require participant approval?' the profile shows up fine

When the event IS set to 'Require participant approval?' the profile doesn't show up. The only profile that will show is the name and address profile.

Since my wanted profile is a series of questions to about a person's readiness for this event this isn't the desired result.

Is there any way of getting the profile to show before approval?

Thanks
   Matthew

Doh!

Ok - I set the form up in the sandbox and discovered my error.

I hadn't set up my custom data fields in the profile, so in effect had a blank profile. Many thanks for the comments. Solved now and a happy camper.

Just to say as well thanks for such a magnificent piece of software.
