What are the chances of 3.1 be released in the next couple of weeks?

Hi,

We really like the new features in 3.1 beta's but we will need to deploy in the next couple of weeks.

I was wondering what the chances of a final release in that time scale are - it still says Jan 13th 2010 in the doc:
http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRM/CiviCRM+v3.1

We need to decide this week if will revert to 3.0 for deployment or hang on a bit longer and wait for 3.1

Many thanks for everyones hard work.

We will do 3.1 final in 1-2 weeks time and I would recommend you should go with current 3.1 beta (IMO very much stable) rather than 3.0.x

However if you use profiles, this issue in beta5 may cause problems: http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,11656.0.html

The workaround described there works for me.

Thanks for the quick replies Kurund and Dave J,

Very helpful - we've decided to hang on for 3.1 and work with the current beta and any workarounds.

Cheers
Margal
