Joomla Version Error and Assistance with Install on IIS
January 19, 2010, 10:33:48 am
We are trying to install CiviCRM on our Joomla box.  However, the instructions for the installation say that you need Joomla 1.5.8.  My understanding is that the latest version of Joomla is 1.5.15.  Is this a mistake?

Also, when trying to install from directory, I get the error "Please enter a package directory".

We are using:

IIS
PHP v.5.2.0
MySQL 5.0.22

If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Andy

Civi runs on the latest version of Joomla.

Please enter package directory means you're not putting the correct path to the unpacked civi installation package. Folder path is incorrect.
