CiviCRM Community Forums (archive)

I work in the higher education community and involved with developing open source solutions for the community.  There seems to be a growing demand for open source solutions that fit specific requirements - in this case constituent relationship management - engaging with alumni, recruiting, event management, etc. 

In searching the forums, i see a couple of deployments of civicrm at a us university/college - i'd like to ask if there are more and
- is the solution departmental or enterprise?
- is it integrated with an erp solution?
- what is the largest deployment of civicrm - as it relates to # of users, or # of records/constituents
- any other universities or colleges ?

I have developed CiviCRM sites for a few University departments.

Thus far, departmental, although there was (perhaps still is) a discussion of integrating the departmental sites of one College of a University where several departments are already onboard with CiviCRM.

- is it integrated with an erp solution?

Not the ones I did.

- what is the largest deployment of civicrm - as it relates to # of users, or # of records/constituents

Trellon claims to have "scaled the system to handle as many as 3 million contact records."

- any other universities or colleges ?
