How to Edit Already Submitted Event Registrations - HELP!
January 20, 2010, 01:01:54 pm
I am looking to be able to edit the selected options of an already placed registration. In other words I want to be able to modify the submitted data ie. Change registration to a different option in a price set after it has already been submitted.  How do I do this? Is it even possible?

Thanks!   ;D

Does anyone know the answer to this? I just want to edit those registrations that have already been submitted when the participant wants to change thier data.

Any help would be appreciated!

I'm afraid the only way to edit them is via mysql/ phpmyadmin or to delete & re-create them. I have problems with this too.

Hmm - This might be a deal breaker.

Does anyone know of an alternative to CiviEvent/CiviCRM that handles just event registration? That is all I need it for and I'm looking for an open source platform (don't mind paying for it).

well - you could put your money towards getting that bit of CiviCRM patched so that CiviCRM does meet your needs

Do you know who can do this? I'd be willing to spend $300 on a solution that can make submitted registrations editable.

HI,

I think there was some doubt about this on IRC.

To clarify - some aspects of an event registration can be edited but not price options & you cannot change a registration from one event to another (e.g. if you wanted to change a user's workshop &  maintain the link to their credit card payment transaction )

What I am looking to change are non-price options or options with a $0 dollar amount. Example:

My event registration comes with a free event T-Shirt. The participant selects a size Large but then contacts me to change it to a size Medium. I want to be able to change that option without having to delete the registration and create a new one.

I don't want to touch the credit card transaction information.
