I guess I've found a bug.
When trying to see the details of a contact, if I happend do pass the gid param as text, I get listed all the existing profiles with the contact data!

Try this:

[http://www.mysite.com]/index.php?option=com_civicrm&task=civicrm/profile/view&reset=1&id=17&gid=X

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature. This was intended as a feature in earlier versions of CiviCRM. If we dont get a numeric 'gid' (or the gid field is absent), we use all profiles. Thus you can create forms with multiple profiles in it.

IMO, it is a useful feature ..
