Hi,

Got a smart group with the criteria all individuals having the relationship XXX to the contact YYY (on a civi 3.0).

When I add a new contact and a new relationship XXX, it isn't added to the group. When I edit the criteria of that group, I see the contact among the search result (but can't force save/update the list, not sure there is an option for that).

On the admin search config, I have a smartgroup cache set to 0.

Any idea how to force the recalculation of the members of that smartgroup ?

I think the cleanest (only?) ui way is
1. change the search options
2. press 'search'
3. 'select all',
4. then select action 'update smart group'
5. click 'go'
6. then you get to new page click 'update smart group'
7. new screen select 'done'

I know it is a late reply but I actually got to your question by searching for the solution.
Leaving it anyway in case someone else runs into it (or I forget, again, how to do it).

Coming to this late, if there's an answer elsewhere a pointer would be appreciated:
I thought the whole point of Smart Groups was that they automagically refreshed themselves from the Search Criteria every time they are used? Am I missing something?
