I'm running Joomla and I am getting the above error once I am in CiviCRM and I hit any of the menu items under contacts or events (or pretty much anything else for that matter). If I add the word administrator into the url after the site name everything works fine.

I have determined based on a couple of other posts here that it has something to do with the pathing in some of the configuration files. I have confirmed that *both* civicrm.settings.php files are set correctly, I have deleted the temp files, I have checked the global resource url and I have done the rebuild menu command but I am still stuck.

Where else should I be looking???
