Author Topic: Upgraded from 2.2.8 to 3.0.4 (drupal) civi search &l eftmenu expanded and frozen (Read 1016 times)

I have upgraded civicrm on our dev server (with drupal 6.15). When you go to CiviCRM Home, you get an expanded civimenu on left and the rest is white screen. When you click anywhere on the screen the dashboard appears, but the civi left menu is over the normal left menu. The position of the menu is static too - when you scroll, down the page moves, but the menu doesn't. I am using bluemarine as my admin theme.

Anyone have the same issue and found a fix?

I have the exact same problem. I thought it was a template menu, but switching to the default template doesn't do anything either. Is this a 3.0.4 issue? I upgraded directly from 2.2.2 to 3.0.4.

Ok, got it:

I did the upgrade on a local backup. The backup was loading scripts in the header from the live production site though, which obviously doesn't have the new menu.css file, and hence the unstyled navigation bar.

Changed 'administer > global settings > resource URLS' to reflect localhost address and that fixed it.
