problems with drill down and Donor Details

Hi - a great workflow would be

Pull up Donor Summary set to show Contrib Type as both COlumn and Group by

Then click on eg Jan 2010 for Member Dues to see just those results.

Not quite there as drill down doesn't seem to me to keep apply the 'filter' from the Row so when you get to Donor Detail you have to apply the filter.

Not a big issue but applying the filter based on which link in Summary is used would be sweet.

from my irc reply:

dlobo: petednz: the main reason i think is that linking is done at the "report" level and not the instance level
dlobo: so the links are constant, which is not great behavior
dlobo: maybe we'll fix it in the next phase of civireport development

So if someone in the community wants to step up and sponsor the next phase of civireport development, that would be great :)
