Email Receipt Templates

Where are the receipt templates for 3.1-beta6?  I am not seeing any file which corresponds to the emails sent out when a user renews memberships.  The TPL files referred to in other posts do not seem to exist.

We have move all email templates to DB.
Check: "System Workflow Messages": http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/admin/messageTemplates&reset=1

If I wanted to tweak the Receipt Message (email) of a contribution page with smarty variables or tokens, do I modify the system workflow message "Contributions - Receipt (on-line)"?

yes

in general it would help you (and us) a whole lot, if you actually did try those things out before asking the question on the forums

its fairly easy to modify the template and run a test contribution

based on your questions and what u need to do, u might want to consider hiring someone from http://civicrm.org/professional/

I apologize for wasting anyone's time -- especially yours, Lobo. I am embarrassed by my level of ignorance, but am trying to come up the learning curve as fast as possible.

One quick question: is it possible to insert smarty variables directly into the Receipt Message that is entered in the contribution page configuration screen? I tested the following message, but the variables are sent as literals in the email.

Thanks,
